How to get to the main gate from Lincoln Avenue, to parking and to the Halls of History - a journey in pictures - added 10-18-22

All map apps will take you to the Forest Home entrance on Forest Home Avenue. That is not the main entrance. The gates will be locked. You need to go to the main entrance, which is on Lincoln Avenue.

THIS GALLERY WILL SHOW YOU WHAT YOU WILL SEE WHEN YOU TURN RIGHT ONTO FROM FOREST HOME AVENUE ONTO LINCOLN, THE MAIN GATE ENTRANCE AND THE OPENING IN THE CHAIN LINK FENCE TO ACCESS PARKING.
  • Depending on your arrival time, the gates that roll across blocking the driveway may be locked too BUT our parking lot is accessible.
  • Don't drive on if the gates are open or you'll just have to move your car out to the parking lot.

Forest Home Avenue goes northwest and southwest. Lincoln goes east and west.
  • If you're traveling northwest on Forest Home, turn onto Lincoln and almost immediately turn right into the main Forest Home entrance.
  • If you're traveling west on Lincoln, there's a barrier that won't allow you to turn left into the entrance. You are forced to pass the it, Turn left onto Forest Home and make a U turn.

5 minutes before your first tour, take your lantern from the Halls of History, go to the black tent located to the right of the entrance to the Victorian Gardens. The stage manager there will give you your call to enter and pick up your tour group.
Note: If you prefer to go directly into the Victorian Gardens and mingle with the guests prior to the tour, you are welcome to do so. Check in at the black tent first and retrieve your lantern.

At the appropriate time, you'll gather on the end of the gardens near the arbor, be introduced by John Babbacombe Lee (Ron Fry) and lead your guests from there.

For your 2nd and 3rd tour, also check in at the black tent . Don't forget your lantern.

PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK IN AT THE TENT FIRST. The stage manager there will not give the sign to go if they don't know you're there.
