About

Picture
The Port Washington WI Ghost Walk explores the historic downtown and nearby Union Cemetery. We share...
  • Experiences of Port residents
  • Unexplainable things that have occurred on past ghost walks ... and
  • Your Ghost Guides' personal experiences from investigations and walks since 2010.

The ghost walk explores the historic downtown area of Port Washington and nearby Union Cemetery. Your spirited guide will share stories of the supernatural experiences of Port Washington residents as well as tales of things experienced by ghost walk guests and guides over Caper Company's 13-year history. Peppered with the scary tales are fascinating facts about Port Washington’s past.

... then drive from downtown to Union Cemetery

Union Cemetery is a big rectangle. The street on the top (north) end of the map is Chestnut. Look for the stone steps near the intersection of Chestnut and Park Streets.

Do not drive into the cemetery. Park on the street near these steps.
Where do we meet?
Your ghost walk gathers in the plaza by Dockside Deli - located at 218 E. Main Street, Port Washington, WI
How much walking is there?
You'll walk roughly 6 square blocks in downtown Port Washington and a lot in the cemetery. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

The route includes hills, stairs and uneven ground. We're sorry but this ghost walk is not 100% ADA accessible.
What's the scare factor?
Moderate. No one will jump out at you in a scary costume. These are people's real paranormal experiences.
Age limits?
Age 13 and over only, please. There's a lot of walking and standing and listening which doesn't always mesh will with young attention spans.
Weather policy?
It can be chilly at night by Lake Michigan--wear layers and a jacket.

Rain? If there's a light rain, the walk will still go on. If the tour guide determines it's too heavy or stormy, we will cancel and refund your tickets. Your guide will make the decision as close to walk start time as possible. If you opt out of the walk but the group still goes out, there are no refunds.
Do you take reservations or walk-in's?
Nope. Sorry. You must pre-purchase your admission ahead of time.
Where's my ticket?
You don't need one. We will have your name and the number of people in your party on a check in list. Nothing to show or print.

PS. Beware of scalpers. If someone offers to sell you a ticket, they're lying. We don't issue tickets.
refund policy?
We're happy to issue a refund with a minimum of 3 days before your ghost walk. No exceptions. We can also try to re-schedule you for another time if you're within the 3 day cut-off.
