OTHER FUN THINGS YOU MIGHT
WANT TO DO TO PREPARE…

Create a Medicine Bag
A medicine bag can be many things – and is to many people, especially the Native American cultures from whence it comes. For our purposes, it’s a collection of items with which you have a strong symbolic connection.  Follow the link below to read more about how to assemble your own medicine bag.

Assemble Your Ghost Hunting Equipment
Haunt Spots tours are fun for anyone who has a sense of adventure and enjoys a good ghost story.  However, if you’re interested in a more in-depth exploration, this is a great opportunity to indulge your inner-Jason and Grant.  Prepare for your ‘ghost hunt’ with the right equipment.  Click here for details on suggested equipment, how to use it and how to approach the actual ghost hunting aspect of your exploration.

Create Your Sound Track
In addition to the audio stories of each Haunt Spot, you might want to download some theme music to play in the car.  These are some of our favorites:  “Thriller” by Michael Jackson, “Hotel California” by the Eagles, Greig’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King”, Mike Oldfield’s “Tubular Bells”, and the Disney Haunted Mansion theme.  We also like to tune into the local ‘oldies’ radio stations.  Try scanning your AM dial for oldies.

and…GO!

Tell Us About It When You Get Back

Why Take a Haunt Spots Tour?

Time for an
Economical Adventure
Its an Economical Staycation!

Haunt Spots tours are pre-planned, pre-packaged, economical Staycations.   There are no hidden fees and none of the primary destinations on a Haunt Spots tour require additional admission fees or expense.  Tour prices are for the itinerary, not per person, so one purchase can entertain a full carload.  Gas up and go!

“The music is great, and the
(intro audio to a destination)
is creeeeeeppy!”

Stir Crazy?
Ghosts don’t only
come out in October.

Haunt Spots are accessible anytime of year. It’s a great option during Wisconsin’s ‘stir crazy’ months.  And the atmosphere of the locations changes with the seasons.

“We couldn’t wait to get to
the next stop.”
