Directions...

Port Washington is about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee.

 

From Milwaukee: 

Take I-43 N for 20.9 miles

 

Take exit 93 for WI-32 N/County Hwy V toward Port Washington/Grafton for 0.5 miles

 

Turn right at WI-32 N for 3.7 miles

 

Turn right at W Grand Ave for 0.8 miles

 

Turn left onto Franklin.  Take your first right on Main and you will see Dockside Deli in front of you.

 

Enter the parking lot on your right and park in the Port Washington city parking lot C4.  There are signs on poles. Please be sure to bring change for the parking meters. 

 

Walk toward Dockside Deli and you will see the Wisconsin Chair Company historical marker.  The tour group meets near there under the shelter.

 

GPS:

If you want to put it into your GPS, aim for 218 E. Main Street, Port Washington, WI 53074. That’s the address for Dockside Deli, which is right by the tour gathering spot.

Ghost Walk 2013 

 

Explore Port Washington's rich haunted history. This charming and haunting New England style village on the shores of Lake Michigan is a short 30-minute drive north of Milwaukee, WI.

 

We plan to lead ghost walks through paranormal Port Washington most Saturdays during the summer of 2013. This popular ghost walk is a tour of historic downtown haunts.

Lisa is a lifetime Port Washington local and has had paranormal experiences throughout her life.  She will share the 'insiders' stories that no-one else knows. 

Tickets: $10 per person.  Cash or credit accepted.

 

Length: Approximately 90 minutes  

Availability: Call Lisa to arrange for a tour or to find out if one is already set to go out tonight.

Location: All tours begin at Wisconsin Chair Company historical marker at the marina by the municipal parking lot C4, near Dockside Deli.  This is a metered lot so bring quarters. 

 

For Your Comfort and Enjoyment:  Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers. The tour is 100% out-of-doors and evenings by the lake may be chilly.

 

There is a lot of walking, some along uneven ground and includes some stairs.  This tour is not recommended for people with baby strollers.

 

Ages:  Recommended age 12 and over.  Younger children are welcome with a responsible adult and at the discretion of the tour leader.

 

Weather:  The ghost walk will go on in light rain.
